Poetry, Arts, and Publishing

age-old tree bark
falls softly to the ground,
then tiptoes unheard
back into earth.

and those
that leave before us
silently follow it
fading freely
back to earth.

And what jubilant praises
are heard
behind them——
in the chirping
and singing
of the birds.

You poetry lovers need to read: To the Great Spirit, by Joe Tetro, too.

Lizette,

Nice to hear from you using this site. Don's done a wonderful job setting it up. I was hoping you'd gotten your book, I mailed it last Monday. Well, book rate, so who knows. In any case, it en route.

Take care!

Sounds good. (I would love some Poet's Espresso submissions if you want, how've you been?)
