Too expansive? Want to thank you for inviting me Tuesday evening, forgot how much I like to hear other people read. Need to get more of my work in the computer, so I might read it better. Last posted.
Something like I love the sea but the desert's not for me? The ocean is real but the cities are of steel? I would ride my bicycle to the bar, but don't like being a target for a car. I love the sunset on the coast and this is last post.
For some reason I thought you were going to start rhyming or something lol.
When I grew up they had a cartoon character that said with gum in their mouth, with a British accent:
The walls at the mall, are totally, totally tall.
So I started think...

About Me:
I read anything, when I make time. I love music, especially old-soft, hard, acid rock, classical and opera. I listen to country too, but not as readily. I do stain glass, photography, scuba, and especially love to ride the bicycle. I love old black and white romantic movies and writing. Everything takes a second place to my job, however. I don't have enough time to do even a few of the things I love to do. But we all keep trying.
Where did you hear about us?

Wow, it's taken me a long time to get back to this. Here's my poem:
Slow
go
Joe
I'm thinking of doing a thing called corner conversations where I sit at a corner for about one hour and talk with whom ever comes by and wants to talk.
Hi bikedive
Out galavanting uh lol, where have you been haven't heard from you in a month of Sundays. Picking up the pen I hope. I have been doing some writing, also Don and I have been doing some partner poems which were posted on Medusa. They are alot of fun to do, some times we get together and the muse drops in. Im sending you a poem I just wrote. I was thinking how songs remind us of , loves passed, sorrow, happiness etc, and I was inspired to write this one that is a husband poem as ususual lol. Its entitled, for lack of a better name, Song.
Song
How it fills me
how your eyes
flash before me
like the blue sky.
Emotion,
encompasses, tears
creep deep down,
rippling like a water
less river because I
remember our dance.
Piano keys clicked
saxaphone played,
you touched my bare
shoulder as you whispered
innuendo in my ear,
as night captured us and
stars danced for us.
Now song is without lyrics
yet, I hear your soft words speak
like breeze across manuscript,
like verse of a poem, like love on
wings.
I embrace song,
reach out like a paint brush,
paint your face again, your arms
holding me, and your eyes like the
blue sky filling me with love.

Hi Marie, I got your phone message and was looking forward to answering you here, but my computer has been acting up. I have been writing, but mostly for the new book, Moon Mist Valley, but managed to get a broken heart poem on Medusa. I saw yours there too, good poem. The Oceans Pendelum poem is great too. Check the last line though, might seperate timeless - as into two words and swinging I think you left out a g, nothing else that I would change. I will try to make the party Friday, would love to get a dance with you, might try to steal your heart though. I could use a hug, see if I have a new poem or two by then okay? Thank you, Bikedive.
