About Me:

I haven't written anything in a long time but would like to get back to writing. My writing now is usually limited to various political sites e.g., HuffingtonPost. It's just that the last two years have been pretty hard on me as my lover of 24 years died two years ago. He adopted two kids 6 years prior to his death and the day after he died social services came and took the kids and put them back into foster care without even asking me if I wanted them. Eight months later my mom died and two days later my dog. So, although I'm holding up okay, there are times when I just get into a funk and have to deal with all those memories.
Other than that, I'm an avid reader and especially like historical novels and history. Actually, I like to read most genres with the exception of Sci-Fi.
Thankfully, the holidays are over. Whew!!!
