very thoughtful, and the title of the poem is why it doens't make much sense. the poem is legitimately fickle thoughts.

True, anything a person writes that they call a poem can be one, but then again everyone has their own ideas about it as well. There's certain things a lot of people look for, like sensory description, storytelling, or thoughtfulness, I think this...

I'm of the opinion everything's poetry, top to bottom. hence why a lot of it won't make much sense.

I guess some poems aren't crafted towards expressing to others but more just to articulate thoughts that we're going over in our minds.

blueberry muffintops are haunting my dreams tonight
miss salt's teenage weight gain's caused a horrible sickness
in the blue skinned children around her
and no matter what the teachers and parents do,
everyone's falling to the illness
spread oh so bluntly
by our dear muffintopped teenagers,
who refuse to admit they've caught something

fickle thoughts breed inactivity

In so many tight spaces
do i find the current
fraying at the edges of what i truly mean
which is to say
i utterly
and wholly
mean nothing
i have a cut down sense of intelligence
and the fighting children hidden within such a concept
keep everyone from making much of a life for themselves.

Ink Fits

interrupted the ink filling
in my fleshy body
with simple phrasings of comeliness
and smooth likability,
and it's all a cover
to make sure those i've left behind
won't make the connection that i

because if the ink simply flowed,
i'd be out of a job.
though i am anyway

Hi Michael. I dig your writing. Also, I love ID! Didn't Hemingway kill himself there?

Re: Ink Fits

I'd take out two words, where it says:

"...that i / because if the ink..."
I'd suggest instead taking out the first "i" and "because", making it:

"...that / if the ink..."
since it would avoid having to re-read several times like I did to make it make sense.
