Rap Scraps

So been thinking of doing beatboxing, rap, spoken word, such things of the like.

I got some poetry/lyric scraps here but need some help in finishing them.

"Time for War." (Unfinished)

One, Two, Three. Four.
It's time for war.

Five, Six, Seven, Eight.
It's time to annihilate.

"Chemical Trap" (Unfinished)

Love is a
chemical trap.
That's why it has a
bad rap.

Cuz hun,

God In Pig's Blood

God in Pig's Blood.

I see you.

You're like a caged animal. Either pacing or talking to somebody then wandering off to gaze at empty space. A "Hello?" causes your train of thought to crash. And you start talking again. And you run when it gets bad.

Once you ran, you thought you were going to break the speed barrier before you realized that...you were in Locke Lounge. And you had to break the run, stumble, and go ohshit, the momentum driving you to jump on the chair against the wall. Your frien… Continue

propellin' me
through life.

bringin'
me strife.

the rage
the sorrow

gonna make me change.
gonna make me strange.

the rage
the sorrow.

apathy is death

Good Evening:

Since I was in first grade, I think, lol, my brother, sis and I would be put to bed by momma but on friday night we would get up and watch Nightmare Theatre, on the couch with a blankie! Mom would always call out, "Are you geys up watching monster movies"? LOL, we always replied "No Momma"! I grew up watching the Masters of horror: Vincent Price, Boris Karloff, Lon Cheney, Bella Lugosi, and Christopher Lee and they have always been my inspiration.

Have a great evening,

Raymond

Hey thanks for the comment on "A new Definition of Womanhood". I was stoked that it was published and i'm glad you find it interesting. Anyways, you asked about the inspiration for it. Sadly, most of it came from my own life as the first half focused on opinions that have been crammed down my throat. I don't believe I can fit the expectations said gender roles have given for me. I seem to read a lot of feminist literature too and I think that gets put into my work constantly. I haven't been able to see what it looks like in Artifact, but im shaking with excitement!!
