by Jadesfire / Jadeonar A girl, her cyber cat, her mutant beast hound, a dragonfly, her grav car, and her guitar... Parked under a glowlamp on a desolate one-way street.

She drove all day, until she pulled over for the night. Let the pets out for some fresh air. Shot back some hard liquor before she whipped out the guitar. It might've been the whiskey, or it might've been too much gin. The strangest thing happened when a dragonfly fluttered in...

Victoria 4.2, Cuore di moda clothing set & expansion pack, Xerr creature, Millennium Cat Le with custom texture, Stormrider grav assault vehicle by Nightshift3D, Dystopia City Blocks, PBW rifle from A3 Mechgirl, guitar by X3D.

by Jadesfire / Jadeonar Yeah, this one's really out there. But then again, i've got an Orcs in Space kit i'll have to try out sometime.

I've no real explanation for this one, other than having wanted try out a render of this sci-fi model. And the fairy wings seemed to have a fairly wide body span. I will say though, all the lighting and reflections and shadows really brings a high-end system to a crawl.

Again, content by Daz3d. I can't recal who made the Sci-Fi Corridor scene. was a weekly freebie when I got it.

And lastly - just why is the fairy waving her wand with a happy expression on her face? Thats gotta be more bizzare than her being there in the first place.

by Jadesfire / Jadeonar My very first SWAG art upload! Since this is a finished product and the sample renders I made along the way contain nudity, theres little point of making a blog entry. Instead, I'll just detail the creation process here.

This was a private request by Uron Teff. Normally I don't do requests due to the nature of availability of 3d models that I have, and the limited availability of what's out there, and yet what I have to buy in order to complete the project. That being said, Once I buy it,

Uron was looking for a picture of a Female Neti Jedi / Sith for a new character he was creating, and only had T'ra Saa @ Wookieepedia to go by. He talked to me about the character concept, and it inspired me to try to take on this unique challenge. At the time I was unsure if I'd be able to complete the task, but I was determined nonetheless.

One thing this character was going to offer me was a wide leeway of creative license. From the limited source of reference images, the species lacked a nose, but there was no telling whether or not they had ears. I figured I'd cross that bridge when I come to it. As it turned out, I managed to hunt down and buy some character morphs that'd allow me to make the basic humanoid appearance, with the modifications of removing the nose and ears. Finding what I could use for hair, or what the Neti had for hair was actually plant roots. Neti are a plant based species. This was probably the hardest aspect of the character creation, and I tried a bunch of different resources until I found something I could work with, pose and shape into tentacle like roots. I owe a thanks to KeithM from ShareCG for the free tentacles.

I'd further post the whole process but theres a 4k character limit ;) Guess mine is 6534 count.

Format: 24bit PNG
Music Inspired by: Roxette - What's She Like?

What can I say? She's simply mysterious, isn't she?

Originally, I created this sliced sans caption & frame as a character preview tease for a new StarTrek rpg character i was creating. I never gotten the chance to play her, but her full view and face came out most beautifully. Her character was supposed to be of mixed Bajoran Klingon parentage, lending her a very exotic persona & body. I was listening to Roxette at the time of creation. The particular song, soft and yearnful in mood, very much influenced the hybrid character concept, what would she be like? Because thats what making a roleplaying character concept is all about. What I must ask myself about her, what is she like, before I can step into her shoes and bring her to life.

I suppose the real question of this mysterious tease is 'What's she like?'

:edit / addendum:

The song in itself is a meaningful one, gentle chords, melody, percussion and lyrics. Sung from the perspective of a lover, or ex-lover, who still is sad but wistful and harbors feelings for someone who now is with another. Alot of feeling is conveyed within the song itself.

lyrics:

What's she like when she turns around to kiss you goodnight?
When she wakes up in the morning by your side?
What's she like?

What's she like?
The yellow moon or the deep blue of the sea?
Do you feel the same way you did when it was me?
What's she like?

Oh I've been holding on
I've been holding on for far too long
I've been holding on
I've been holding on much too long.

What's she like when you're making love and stars are in her eyes?
When you're looking for the answers in her smile?
What's she like?

Oh I've been holding on
I've been holding on for far too long
I've been holding on
I've been holding on much too long
Too long.

I never knew I could love somebody the way I loved you
I never thought I'd be the broken-hearted
Well, nothing hurts you like the truth.

So what's she like when she turns to you, when push comes to shove?
When she whispers in your ear that she's in love?
What's she like?

Oh I've been holding on
I've been holding on for far too long
I've been holding on
I've been holding on much too long
So what's she like?

Dusk or Dawn? Is it Mars made in Earth's Image thousands of years ago? Or what Mars is destined to become once again in a thousand years future? Or Earth looking so distantly alien resembling it's red cousin? The answer lies in the eye of the beholder.

The sequel to accompany New World Mars. I was captivated to do this picture, listing to Yanni and Strange Advance, while reading Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars trilogy (Red Mars, Blue Mars, Green Mars; the page by page handbook of Mars, from first colonization to final teraformation). I'm fascinated by the planet Mars. Mars - A world so distant and alien to us, but no less universal to us. But nonetheless captivating.
