Hi, I've been living in Stockton for a little over two years now but don't know much about what's happening in this area. I drive all the way to Oakland on Wednesday's to go to a Open Mic Venue called Mouth Off Wednesdays. Just wondering if anyone knows where it's happening here in Stockton. I also have a really good friend who is a well know Spoken Word Artist named Ise Lyfe, and he is also interested in coming to this area for performances.

Hi, I'm not sure if you read my comment on your page... there's Open Mic at the Stockton Hotel just in the block that the downtown cinema is, 2nd Friday of the month at 6pm.

And Singer and Songwriter's night includes a Poetry Open Mic, Thursdays 7:30pm in the coffee shop where the Stockton Empire Theatre is.

And Poets on the Roof Workshop is going to be 6:30pm on the last Friday of July at Patricia Mayorga's house, call or contact Marie Ross about directions / invites 467-3019.
